Anastasia Beverly Hills Moonchild Glow Kit | Review

  

So guys, ABH have brought their products to the UK finally! Their website had been live for 5 minutes and I jumped at the opportunity to get this Glow Kit because I have wanted it forever, I just didn’t want to pay the customs charges. There are 6 shades and
they all look really unique and colourful and I didn’t have anything like these in my collection. The shades and shade names can be seen in my images.

After swatching these, my favourite colour is pink heart, followed closely by lucky clover. They look really pretty when the light hits them and are stunning for highlighting cheeks, the inner corners and lips. Blue moon is a really pigmented shade when you finger swatch, in comparison to blue ice which doesn’t show up much at all. Purple horseshoe also isn’t as intense as it looks in the pan when swatched – it isn’t as purple as it appears to be. Go to my instagram @Myleeneblogs for arm swatches!

The packaging for this is amazing, it reflects rainbow light which you can see in some of these images. I think that fits amazingly with the palette.

I’ve worn most of the shades in here already and when I wore pink heart I received so many compliments on it. There is a downside though… after a few hours of wear the shimmer wore off, leaving me with a coloured stripe across my face which looked awful (this happened with every shade). Other highlighters I have do sometimes wear off throughout the day, but because they match my skin tone more (e.g. a champagne shade) it’s less noticeable. I have no idea if it’s because of my mattifying foundation or setting spray that this wears so badly, but I am yet to find a highlighter that remains intense all day. However, if you carry it around in your makeup bag and top up your highlight throughout the day it will look as good as new.
